Welcome

The Netspace Foundation, Inc. is a fully independent, not-for-profit corporation in the State of New York. Our general mission is to provide a non-commercial, user-supported electronic forum for individuals and groups looking to build not-for-profit and non-commercial communities, enhance culture, or otherwise serve the (online or real) community.

Our origin dates back to 1994 when the Brown University NetSpace Project was created. Years later, the Netspace Foundation was formed to enable us to serve our users and the greater Internet community independently from the University. As has been the case since the very beginning, the Netspace Foundation is staffed entirely by volunteers.
